i had some heavy cream just starting to sour.
decided to try making it into whip cream, added sugar ... whipped it up
i could still taste a little sour hint .

so i figured id mix it in with waffles, but she wanted pancakes
so 1 cup of pancake mix
about 1 cup of whip cream
added milk until the texture was that of pancake batter ... maybe 1/2 cup
drained some canned corn maybe about 1/2 cup -1 cup seasoned with some ground pepper and into the batter they went.

came out really light and fluffy. sweet but not too sweet
some of the best "pancakes" ive ever made :chef:

I did cook pancakes I think a month ago with cream on it.
Here's the recipe, maybe you can try this too. I got this from Yummy magazine.

6 Pancakes, 4 tablespoons softened cream cheese, 2 tablespoons cream, 6 slices bacon cooked, maple syrup

Cook pancakes.
In a bowl, whip together cream cheese and cream.
Spread cream cheese mixture over each pancake. Put 3 bacon slices over a pancake. Top with another pancake. Drizzle with maple syrup. Top with a last layer of pancake with the whipped cream cheese side down. Do the same for the remaining pancakes to make two stacks.
Serve with extra whipped cream cheese and maple syrup on the side.

Remember to serve warm syrup with them....I hate cold stuff on hot foods [a few exceptions...icecream is one]. Warm catsup on burgers....etc.
