Grandma Utz's kettle cooked chips review...

The best thing was the bag. Liked the design on it.

Our local grocery store finally got this brand in as an endcap item, It fully surprised me, so I thought I would try this one out.

The bag says the chips are supposed to be slightly thicker than other chips and I agree with them.

The chips were nice and big.

The chips were crunchy.

The chips were low in sodium, but were cooked in LARD.

I think cooking it in Lard killed the taste for me.

I am giving this chip a thumbs in the middle.

These are sort of a cross between ordinary potato chips and kettle-cooked potato chips. They're not as irregular in shape as most kettle chips, nor as crunchy, but they sort of have the kettle chips texture. Family size bag weighs Bag Weight 8 oz.

I agree with you that they did not have such an irregular shape and certainly did have a different kind of a crunch to them.

Back to my second flavor from this company.

This chips in this bag were on the small side, but I did not mind.

Really looked like a kettle cooked chip.

The chips though were nice and crunchy.

The flavor though was really good.

Sodium a bit on the high side.

A big thumbs up from me, way better than the first flavor I had.

Onto the Utz Ripples potato chips Review...

Just a basic ripple flavored potato chip, nothing special.

Look a lot like the ruffles brand potato chip, but has low sodium.

Lower sodium than most major brands of chips which was nice to see.

The chips at the top of the bag were nice and big.

The chips were crunchy.

The chips tasted great.

Nice and crunchy...

Onto the Utz Potato chips review...

It looked like a regular basic potato chip with low sodium on it.

Nothing special about it at all.

Tasted good.

nice crunch, BUTTTTTT......

If I had to make a choice I would rater have the ripple chips instead. The ripples gave it that extra something that made it better tasting to me.

I will this chip a big thumbs up though.
