So I saw this 1.5 ounce bag of potato chips at a Starbucks location and bought it for 1.50.

The chips here were very crunchy.

Nice thickness.

Nice light color.

The salt though seemed to be unevenly applied. The biggest chips had the least sodium while the smallest chips seemed to have more.

I give this item a medium sized thumbs up do to the sodium problem I had.

So....not so perfectly salted then! :ermm:

I am a bit of a crispaholic but not tried Starbucks crisps - tend to avoid the place because they support Monsanto.

Pret A Manger do very crispy/crunchy crisps! Crunch and not too much salt are factors that I go for, but also that you can taste the potato. Some brands have all crunch and very little potato flavour. (I go for plain salted - unsalted if I can get it).

The current situation is that I am so disappointed in even Kettle crisps (whose crisps seem now thinner and very light coloured). I am contemplating making my own (avoided due to obesity reasons); I have a mandoline (slicer not instrument!) Added bonus of course is that the crisps can be eaten hot!
