Tried a new one tonight, just one square off of the bar, but that was enough. What is this wonderful chocolate treat?, you ask. Well I will tell you, but only if you promise not to buy them all and horde them in a cave somewhere.
First, a little tease: The flavor is smooth milk chocolate that enhances a perfect filling that takes you to a little bit of icecream, and cheesecake heaven. It is smooth, but with little bits of graham cracker thrown in for flavor, crumbs really, all crunchy and good. Then the strawberry hits you, and it's just right, not to powerful, but not like wimpy strawberry flavor either. And finally, right alongside the strawberry comes this very tasty cheesecake flavor, and texture. The combination of all of the flavors and textures makes you want to eat more. But you must discipline yourself so that you can have more in the morning.
Ok, this wonderous confection is Lindor-Lindt Strawberry Cheesecake bar. The chocolate is pure Lindor milk chocolate with an absolutely delightful filling that reminds me both of starberry cheesecake ice cream, and of a creamy New York cheesecake with a great stawberry jam swirled though the custard.
Go try one and see what you think. It might even be better than the Snickers Hazlenut bar, with is also just wonderful.
