yes, you can get bulk sausage that looks like ground beef. You will need to shape your own patties from it.

I am sure your butcher will be more than happy to help you out with fresh ground pork. Once you eat this you will not want to buy the commercial brands any longer; the taste is so much better. Remember you can add you own season such as sage, rosemary, thyme, garlic, etc. You can alos stuff this sausage in links if you like links.
I like to use fresh ground pork with a lean ground beef to make my homemade salami. It is DELICIOUS!

I went to our butcher and he was more than happy to get me what i needed.
I never thought about asking before. But I told him what i didn't like about the name
brand sausages and what I was wanting. He did a really great job.. It's what I'll be getting from now own.
I'm still going to try the recipes soon as I get the time to.
Dawgluver, I have a smoker that I have had for about 3 years and haven't used it yet. It's in the plans to use it some day, lol. I've just never used one and anything that I've not dealt with before, I tend to procrastinate. Hence, the wok is still in the box, lolol.
