I have gravy and burnt crackly stuff issues. I make roasted potatoes ALOT. I sometimes scrape the stuff stuck to the bottom and eat it. (shh don't tell)

Can you make some sort of gravy from it? I'm a stuck stuff and gravy junkie.

Is there a group for this? :cool:
 
You're not crazy . Stuff stuck on the bottom of the pan is called a fond. You can deglaze it with some liquid, water, stock, wine...
 
whew!!!.....
because cuz I just finished off the bottom of the pan.... I left it out of the dishwasher, told DH is needed to "soak"
 
Yeap, me too. I will intentionally over cook some things to get that, especially cheesy stuff and Boudain that I have take out of casings.
