Even with our modern, fresh produce departments
February is a tough month to get tender veggies.
Try this green bean dish to bring a fresh taste
in the mid of winter.

Snap and rinse a pound of green beans.
Steam or boil until tender - 7-10 minutes
or until they are easily pierced by a fork.

Toss the green beans with slices of
red onion, chopped fresh dill, olive oil
and a dash of fresh ground black pepper.

This is good hot, cold or at room
temperature and goes well as a side
dish for fish or seafood.
