Cold as a first course sounds like a lovely holiday menu dish. That's why you're my fav recipe trouble shooter.
Wonder if we could ask the great cooks/chefs out there for a fav. hot/cold carrot soup... a little ginger maybe and topped with a dollup of sour cream and sprinkled with some fresh basil leaves, etc. So glad you brought up the topic, Alix.
