Red Corn

My local Lucky's market got a batch of Red Corn in. It was tender and had big corn flavor. I hope this varietal stays around for a while. Anybody else have this available? Most of the red steamed out but close to the husk kept a dark red ring so it looked red as you ate it.

We sometimes have a purple corn available not sure if it's actually called red corn, it's a purple colour like red cabbage?

This looks like white corn that was brushed with reddish pink. It is not Indian corn that has real definate colored kernels.
