Anyone hear of these? I read about how they can be stuffed with goat cheese or cream cheese and broiled.

the bottle i got is pastene fire roasted piquillo peppers. it was all i could find. there HUGE and seems there is already a hole on one end. while reading about them, i got them impression they are smaller because it said something about cutting the end off so you can fill and said fill carefully with a small spoon.

these are pretty big!!! I'm still going to try to stuff them when I'm up for it though.

Piquillo (little peak) peppers come from Northern Spain and are traditionally fire roasted. There are actually two types of Piquillos. One is about two inches long ... but the second variety is larger and thicker.

Before being canned, their stems are removed (which is why yours have holes on one end) and they also have their seeds removed.

They can be stuffed with either cheese or meat and are commonly served as tapas.
