Can Cream-of-Wheat be used for something other than breakfast?

Are there recipes that use Cream of Wheat for farina as an ingredient?

You could substitute it for polenta in recipes. You could also serve it in place of grits.

I make dumpling for soup with it.
Beat an egg, salt and pepper and add cream of wheat (or farina) until it is the consistency a little thicker than pancake batter. Drop it by a teaspoon into bubbling broth. Turn down the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes.
It will soak up a lot of broth, especially the leftovers, so have a lot of the broth for serving. You can add chopped parsley or other herbs to the mixture before you make the dumplings.

Cream of Wheat is a marketing/trade name for farina .... apparently created in the 1890's by Fred Clifford, Sr. - brother of one of the partners of the Diamond Mill of Grand Forks, North Dakota.

I Googled on Cream of Wheat and Farina recipes and found these.
