Chickpeas
Hi everyone!
I am hoping someone can provide a recipe for chickpeas, something relatively simple and not too spicy, as I want my 18-month-old daughter to be able to eat it. I'm not looking for a salad, just something flavorful with every-day ingredients. Thanks so much!

How about hummus? I don't have a recipe for you, but use the "search" function here and I am sure you will find some.
I used to just feed my daughter chickpeas just on their own when she was a year old. She LOVED them.

Thanks. I've never made hummus before, it should be interesting!

My sister makes a wonderful interpretation of shepard's pie with a little tumeric, cinnamon and sultanas or apricots or prunes in the lamb mince and instead of mashed potato she does mashed chickpea and celeriac on top. It is a beautiful meal, lovely year round and her kids loved it when they were little. Its one of my favourites, and it freezes well.
