DH's comfort dinner TNT

When my DH was in school, his mom use to make this for him..For him it soothed over rough times and helped celebrate the good ones. He is still easy to please and I make this for him and the kids who love it as well.
Dice and fry 4 slices of bacon.Get them crisp, drain on paper towels. Saute 1 med onion, and 1 red bell pepper both diced in the bacon drippings til soft but not brown.Add 2-1lb cans kidney beans,1-8oz can tomato sauce,1-2 Tab. chili powder,1/2 t. salt,and1/4 t. pepper the bacon and 1/2lb grated cheddar cheese..Now add 6 sliced hot dogs and heat through. Serve on toasted English muffins.

HEAVEN is Cade, Ethan,Carson, and Olivia,Alyssa,Gianna
