Mushroom/Rice Casserole

1/2 Stick butter / margarine
1 Can onion soup
1 Can beef consomme
1 (4oz) can mushroom pieces / stems
1 Cup UNcooked rice

Mix all ingredients in casserole dish. Bake covered 1 hour @ 350. Stir 1/2 way through.

sounds good
Never heard of can onion soup only the dry mix, Is that a cream soup or like french onion soup.

I use the french onion soup. It's a very good and EASY recipe.
