Braised Baby Bok Choy
I served this last night along with my Chinese Trout, & it was absolutely delicious.
4 baby bok choy (mine were between 3" & 4" long)
2 tablespoons butter
Hot sesame oil (sesame oil that's been steeped with hot chili peppers)
Trim root ends from bok choy & slice each little bunch lenghwise & then lengthwise again.
Heat a light swirl of oil & butter in a pan & add bok choy, stirring until leaves wilt. Add a splash or 2 of chicken broth & continue cooking until bok choy is cooked to desired tenderness.
Plate bok choy & drizzle some Hot Sesame Oil lightly over each portion.
