May I make a suggestion? Take a loaf of somewhat soft breat (you don't want it really tough). Slice in half horizontally. Buy some sliced roast pork, some sliced ham. The sandwich dill pickles (or just buy the pickles and slice them thin). Slather with a thousand island type dressing. Take two heavy skillets and heat them. Brush the sandwich with olive oil, then put it on one skillet, then take the other (it will be hot) and press it on the top. Voila. a Cuban sandwich. Oh, I forgot, a slice or two of Swiss cheese. Ymmm
