Dear all,
Friday I bought mango and I'd like to make a superbe mango Indian pudding...or Indian dessert will you please help me?
Thanks a lot in advance...!!;)

Mango Kheer recipe

Ingredients:
1 liter milk
2 ripe mango (sweet) (cut in small cubes)
25 gm almond (chopped)
200 gm sugar

Preparation:
Boil the milk in a low flame and stir continuously.
Add sugar, and continue boiling until the milk become thick (1 litre milk will convert in 1/2 litre).
Add mango cubes and continue stirring.
Place it for cooling and sprinkle the chopped almond on top.
Serve it cool.

Mango Pudding:

4 tbsps of brown and polsen or any other custard powder mixed in a little whole milk until it's all dissolved
4 cups of half and half (cream and milk)
2 cups of mangoes pureed into a pulp
1 cup mango finely diced
sugar to taste

In a pan add the 4 cups of milk and the custard powder dissolved in milk and let it come to a boil, reduce and let it cook until the mixture is nice and thick (should coat the back of a spoon). Add sugar, taste to ensure it's sweet enough, continue to cook for a few more minutes. Let it cool completely. Stir in the pureed mangoes and the diced mangoes. Chill and serve.
