Does anyone out there know of an old Polish tea cake recipe which is made with a good quanity of tea? One woman mentioned it to me , said her late Polish grandmother made it, but never wrote the recipe down, after she died, her granddaugther tried to track it down to no avail. I'm curious to find out if such a recipe was indeed ever recorded or exists. Also, can anyone give me a brand name of any really good ,not- too -sweet, apple butters I can find here in Québec? TY:yum:

what do you mean by "a good quanity of tea"? Do you mean really strong tea or a lot of liquid? I have, somewhere, my aunts' honey cake recipe, where she uses really strong tea to make cake look dark brown. Of course not sure if that is what you need.
