Sinigang na Baka

Your Choice of:
2lbs Beef Ribs, cut into 2"
or
1 1/2lbs Beef Cubed
1pack Sinigang Mix (Brand names: Knorr, Mama Sita, Maggie etc..)
2pc Eggplant, diagonally slice
1/2lb bok choy
1/2lb string beans
1pc daikon radish sliced
3pcs tomatoes chopped
1pc onion chopped
5pcs garlic cloves chopped
6pcs lady finger chili
fish sauce to taste
1tsp salt
4tbsp vegetable oil
Procedure:
- heat oil in pan. Then add garlic, onion, tomatoes and salt. Saute until the vegetables sweats its juice.
- then add beef and partially brown until a little bit of crust forms.
- add water until beef is almost submerged. Then add your sinigang mix. Bring it to a boil then reduce heat. Let it simmer and cover.
- once the beef is tender add your daikon radish and eggplant.
- once the radish is partially cooked add your fish sauce to taste. Add the rest of the vegetables and let it simmer for a few more minutes.
- turn of heat and serve hot.
- garnish and serve with rice.
