You can use just about anything, we love mushrooms, onion rings,green beans, asparagus,pieces of artichoke hearts.

Green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, onion petals, sweet potatoes, zucchini...these are my favorites.

Brussels sprouts are excellent in this,they have a certain richness that is highlighted by the fry.

Also like baby corn. It just fun to see them.
