And the winner is....
Bubble-icious!
Congratulations to Adillo303 for coming up with the name. Actually, I asked DW to pick a name from the entries, because I was voted down (and even told I was insane) when I gave my suggestions for naming our three children. Knowing my track record in this arena, I just delegated from the git-go.  Anyway, here is our little darling Bubble-icios all bubbly and frothy like a good starter should be, and snuggly in its snap top Christmas jar that I bought for 50 cents at a garage sale this past Saturday.  I'm still amazed that there is enough natural yeast in the atmosphere to create a starter in just a few days. I mixed up my first batch of Sourdough No Knead Bread tonight, and will bake it in the morning and report back with the results. Joe |
