Need some good sources for potassium
What are some good sources of potassium other that bananas? I'm getting tired of bananas & I don't like to take suppliments. I get severe leg cramps & need all of it I can get.

That's ok. I haven't had any leg cramps in about 2 months & I want to keep up that record, but bananas get boring.

Dried apricots are a GREAT source of potassium. I had never eaten one in my life and I picked some up at the grocery store one day because I just "had" to have them - I was getting up every single night and eating about 5 kalamata olives around 3:00 am - had a routine doctor's appointment with routine bloodwork and my potassium was VERY low. It's funny how our bodies tell us what we need. I mean, to crave dried apricots when I didn't even know what they tasted like!!!!!

Those are listed on the site that mudbug posted. After reading the recomended foods, I realized how much stuff I eat has a lot of potassium.
I know what you mean about the body craving things. When I was expecting my son, I craved chicken livers. My iron was low & the doctor put me on iron pills. Well long story short, I didn't take the pills, I started eating chicken livers & my iron went up without even having to take the pills.

I'll have to go look at that site. Interesting isn't it??? By eating those chicken livers instead of taking iron pills you also spared yourself a lot of agony
