Anybody watch it? Special guests Dave Lieberman, Mario Batali and Alton Brown. I thought it was a pretty entertaining Emeril, and I sort of got excited about FoodTV's new cookbook. Anybody heard anything about it yet?

I saw it. First time I had watched Emeril in a while.

Forgot how much I enjoy Doc Gibbs and the band.

Lotta promotion of the book.

It was kinda fun to see Alton in a non-scripted scenario - he looked a little nervous, but he did OK.

p.s. I liked Emeril's dish the best - pork chops with a root beer glaze (INteresting!) over some sweet potato puree kind of stuff.

Gee, that pork chop recipe sounds good, Bug. I'll have to look it up. I might enjoy drinking a root beer, while I'm at it...haven't had one in a long time. Remember Black Cows?

I'll bet that was a good show...sorry I missed it. I'm sure I'll catch it sooner or later.

I do remember Black Cows, Connie - available at any A&W you cared to visit back in the day (are they still around?)

Just to fill you in on the rest:
Dave L made some kind of spicy wings dish
Mario made a crabmeat and radicchio (??- help me out here, cc) and fetuccini thing
Alton made cornbread pineapple upside down cake
