I don't like either one and I've never been through one, but, if I have to choose which one I would choose hurricane. You have more warning to get away.

watching lightening or listening to thunder?

I love both, as long as the lightning is far enough away not to be a danger to me! But I will choose thunder, as that is a very soothing sound for me. We use a tape of a thunder storm to put us to sleep sometimes.

I have one those alarm clocks that have the sounds on it, I like it alright,but, they put the rain and the thunder as two different sounds. I would love to find one that had both. Maybe I'll buy another one and have them on each

map

look at it as you go or right down directions and follow that?

BOTH! I get lost going to my mailbox!
I go to yahoo print out the map and look and read and read and look
and then when driving there I go step by step.
