For the last several weeks I've been searching for a larger sleeping basket for our sweet Bella kitty. Right now she's sleeping in her original basket which is a bit like 5 pounds of stuff packed into a 2-pound sack. She's grown. Been with us 5 years as of this Monday.

I've been grazing the usual thrift stores and such with little success.

However, I scored on Tuesday, again, at my local Goodwill. Found a nice, um, spacious basket that looked perfect. One buck.

As I was perusing the wares in the place I spied a cube-shaped box that had a number of spools of thread designed to be used on a serger. I have a serger and it is my best sewing friend. There isn't a week that passes that I don't use if for something. I use a LOT of thread. Most spools are about $4 in the marketplace.

The box was marked $4 and I guessed it had about a dozen spools of thread, most of which I could use. Neutrals and lots of white, which I use the most.

Well, today, I counted my bounty. There were 23 spools of thread. Score!!!
