A tornado came through here yesterday!!

Scariest thing Ive ever been through!! I was home alone with my boys & it was storming really bad, next thing I know I see my carport "fly" across my front lawn and land in my neighbors driveway! Apparently before it got to us, it demolished a brick building down the road and after passing us, it cut across the field and tore the roof off of a barn!! I WANT TO MOVE!!

At least you are okay! I dont know how people stay in places like Louisianna and stuff with all the tornado warnings and floods... I'd go nuts! I like Canada.. I can deal with snow.

Where do you go when you don't have a basement???

Now I will let you off the hook for not playing silly question games last evening.

Glad your are ok physically....Having experienced some close calls myself I know it can be unnerving/scary mentally....You'll be fine...the car port can, and will be replaced...All will be well again!!

Take Care!

Wow, no warning?
Looks like a bit of a mess to clean up. Maybe you can turn the metal into a scrap yard and get a couple bucks for it. It looks very wet there...

No warning!!! It came out of nowhere! I didnt know where to go or what to do. Its scary how the only thing hit was my carport.........my boys are pretty upset by it.
My hubby will sell the metal, I will have to see if my insurance will pay for a new carport. Its always very wet in my front & back yards when it rains, luckily our house doesnt ever flood. I also am waiting for the electric company to come, the pole was knocked loose & my power line is hanging dangerously low.
Heres a pic of the sky after the storm.....eery

I'm glad you and the babies are okay. They are scary! Not knowing where to go is the scariest part. Now that you have been through it, figure out a safe place for the next time. That way, although you will still be scared, you will be safe.
