i recently attended the funeral of a marine who was killed in iraq and it was the saddest thing i've ever been to. it was so hard to look at the hearse rolling by with the long line of police cars and motorcycles escorting the funeral. the funeral wasnt in new york city. it was a good two hours from the city.
but ever since then i've been browsing youtube about it and came across this video... this video is amazing. it's not the funeral i went to, this one was in wisconsin... robert p. warns was killed in iraq and left behind his pregnant wife... his baby girl is about 4 years old now and he never got to see her. makes you think of the sacrifice and risks they face over there knowing they may never come home again.
