Sattie, I feel your pain. I've been there and the only thing that worked was Accutane. I didn't have severe acne - sounds like it was about like yours. Well, Accutane cured it about 20 years ago. One daughter and one son had it and they both took it and it cured them, too. The worst side effects we had were very dry, cracked lips and dry eyes - you learn to always have lip balm with you. None of us had to take it for longer than 2 months and it never came back. Oh, the occasional zit from time to time but nothing like before. Truly, I feel like it is a miracle drug, but I know it does have side effects. Feel free to PM me if you want more info.
Wow, thats crazy. The oil is the very best I mix a couple of drops with the Neutrogena Anti Wrinkle Cream that some one here recommended.
