These are really funny, but people will sue for anything. Case in point, and a true story to boot, from a while back, I heard on the news. A woman sued the manufacturer of her new motor home because she had an accident with it. It seems that, while going in motion down the highway, she (the driver) put the motor home in cruise control and went into the back of the vehicle, the "home" part. For some reason or other, she thought she didn't have to actually remain behind the steering wheel with the cruise control set on. She "won" the lawsuit and was awarded quite a large sum of money and, get this, the manufacturer of the motor home gave her a new one too! Seems they were at fault for not stating this, what should be quite obvious, fact, in the owner's manual. So, best, I guess, from the manufacturer's viewpoint, to sound stupid than to get sued by stupid people.
