I remember watching a Canadian series from this years ago. It is good!!

Sush, it doesn't hurt that she is a red head with freckles, huh? I did not see this movie, but I will if I can catch it on the tube. I'm a sucker for a two hanky movie.

Like Shunka said, I've seen it on a Canadian series as well. I thought Anne was just a girl, albeit, very attractive and all, but an orphan girl.

Yup Amber, that sounds like the one. She went to live with relatives on (I think) Prince Edward Island. My whole family got into watching that series.

If I can ask someone to watch a movie.... it would be Anne of Green Gables. And it has nothing to do with freckles or red hair. Its just a WONDERFUL movie. It made me cry.

It was one of my very favorite books as a young girl, and I loved the Canadian TV series. Didn't know they'd made another movie from it. That book and The Secret Garden were among my very favorites when I first learned to read.
