ICE is an acronym that stands for "In case of emergency", and those three little letters could save your life. Conceived bya British ambulance driver in 2005, you should insert the word ICE before the name and phone numbers of the person(s) that should be called if something has happened to you. Always add a couple of ICE contacts, in case the first one cannot be contacted. For example ICE1, ICE2, ICE3. This number can be vital to finding your family and getting your medical records if you are unable to communicate.

Since the bombings in Great Britain in July 2004, the concept is catching on, and the hope is to have every cell phone user put this vital information into their phone. Once you're done with this article, take the time to enter your ICE contact(s) and pass the word on to your family and friends.
