There is no way I would spend that much money on something that is going to be gone in minutes! He said he was trying to support the area's economy, so I guess you just have to look at it as a donation to help the community.

And $23,500 for a pair of cantaloupes? We didn't pay that much for our car!

the first thing that i thought was send a few seeds to me. i could sell it as a densuke melon from joisey prefecture.

Agreed. I don't foresee many people forking over that much for a pair of melons. Maybe in Beverly Hills.
