Any one else planning on going to see the new movie this weekend?

Paul and I are going to dinner and the movie tomorrow. Can't wait.

Not sure yet about this BLONDE Bond... I like him but.. I don't think he's quite as good as the last one.

smiles, Trish:);)

Wasn't impressed with the last Bond movie so not sure I will see this one. Bring back Pierce or Roger or specially Sean!

I liked the last movie...just not 100% sure of the new actor. Pierce was GOOD! That's for sure.

Hmm.. I've never seen any of the James Bond movies, but we just rented one a few nights ago with the "Blonde Bond"... called Casino Royale?.. This must have been a different movie than the ones you guys are talking about... It was a really good movie, and I think he's a hunk!

Yep, that's the one we are talking about. Like I said ...I did like the movie. If you had seen all the other Bond movies you'd know what we were talking about. He's just not quite the same as all the others.

Oh yeah, i'm sure. Now that i've seen this movie, I really want the see the ones before it. The reason I thought it was a different movie was because we rented it.... but it's in theaters too. Well, It was really good, I think you all will really like it..

Yes, that's the name, always forget it for some reason even though I loved the movie.

Is it true that they got rid of Brosnan as Bond because he was too "policitally correct"?

Close friends of mine live next door to Pierce Brosnan in Malibu. We saw him in the jacuzzi before his privacy hedges were grown. (okay, had to share that)
Who was the Bond in Goldfinger? I love that James Bond movie the most.

It's absolutely CRIMINAL that you don't know that Sean Connery - the original & BEST Bond - was the Bond in "Goldfinger". You must be very very young.

Hah. I'm not very very young. Now that you mention it Sean Connery was the Bond in Goldfinger. I'm just getting old and forgetful, couldn't think of him.
Thanks for reminding me.

well...we saw the new Bond...

It was just OK. TOO many fight scenes and not a very good story line.
We thought it was a little boring.

That's what we thought about the FIRST one with Daniel Craig....too many fight scenes an no story. Thanks PD, I will definitely know to pass on the new one.
