that clown always scared the heck out of my kids. me too , as a matter of fact. but am sorry to hear he died.

That is sad. I have never liked clowns much, but I did like Bozo, Red Skelton's clown character, and Emmett Kelly.

bozo was THE clown, to me.

i mean, from my very first memories, bozo was the very first and pretty much only clown that i'd ever seen.
when i saw other clowns later, like ronald mcdonald, or the clowns at the circus, i thought them to be pale imitations of bozo.

bozo had a special place in my heart as a little boy.

i hope he gets the front seat in the tiny, crazy car on the way up to heaven.

Bozo is a great childhood memory for me too! I always wanted to go on his show to play Bozo Buckets - is that what it was called? Anyways, he was what I watched everyday for a very long time!
