Best thing I did when we bought our home was to go with a 15 year mortgage. Saved a ton of money in interest. Last mortgage payment was made over 5 years ago, then the economy started to turn for the worse. At this current state I would not be able to continue the mortgage payments had I gone with the conventional 30 years.

Same here, last year I earned $300 in rewards without a penny in interest or fees!

For a while after getting out from under, I was scared to use a credit card, now I see the benefit of being very disciplined.
