My husband is a custom autobody man and painter. He typically works on old hot rods and street rods.
Recently he finished refurbishing a 49 Chevy. The car was entered in a "Good Guys" car show over the weekend and the car was a huge hit.
In January, this car was invited to a Chicago car show by AUTORAMA, WORLD OF WHEELS, CAVALCADE OF CUSTOMS - CHAMPIONSHIP AUTO SHOWS and will be placed on a rotissary stage. Only 400 cars are allowed in this show at a price of $1000 per vehicle. His car got picked! It was also be on the cover of Hot Rod magazine, or something similar (I can't remember...).
It's times like these where he wishes he owned his own shop instead of working for someone else. It's his work that got the top job, but he doesn't get the credit for it.
Either way, I'm very proud of him!
