There really is nothing new under the sun. As a teenager in the 60s, we went to a local drive-in restaurant and ordered Quintuple Burgers. Five hamburger patties on a foot long sub roll dressed with all the fixins'.

There is a local bar that has a cheeseburger sub, 3 patties on a sub roll with your choice of toppings. YUM!

looks like what i made for dinner last night. no burger buns, but did have sub rolls. i made a log out of burger. put mayo and mustard on the bun. i did scoop out bread. mostly so things would fit. provolone cheese, onion, tomato and lettuce. i thought it was good. only ate half, pretty filling, had the rest for a snack.

I think it would be better if they would wrap it all in bacon, dip in beer batter, and deep fat fry. :w00t2:

That is funny as he__, Mark!!! I've never seen that. TACO TOWN!:ROFLMAO:

I was think'n more lame, like a DDD episode where Guy deep fries a whole cheese burger. It was at a gizzard place, iirc. Gizzard City?

anyway, dang funny Mark.
