Chocolate Candy box

I made large heart shaped solid chocolate candy boxes filled with gourmet jelly beans and shipped them to Florida, only half of them made it the other half arrived broken. Is there any secrets to shipping the boxes.
I boxed each one seperately and wrapped each one in bubble wrap then put them in a med. size ups box then I took a larger ups box and put peanuts in the bottom placed the med. box in that and filled all the space with more peanuts. I insured the box put so far know luck. Cindy
