Cutting Safety Product Survey

We are three high school students who have developed a device that will improve the cutting fruits and vegetables by holding the food in place so that hands are out of the way. We are doing some research to determine how marketable this product is. Your completion of this survey would be greatly appreciated:

No one will be able to respond to this unless you provide a description of how it works.

Suffice to say that anyone who has cooked in a kitchen and used a knife has cut themselves.

Biggest reason for cuts is the result of dull knives. Mandolins sometimes have an accessory for holding food while cutting. Mezzalunas can keep fingers away from the cutting board while chopping herbs and stuff.

BTW, I think there are also gloves you can purchase that protect your hands while using knives

Does it have it's own blade or is a knife fitted? No way I'm giving up my knife set!
