Ah I see. In this country we have four types of telly. Firstly free to air analogue telly - which we have, free view which is a form of digital which we don't have because we can't get reception, cable and finally satellite. If you have satellite your dvr or vcr can't record so you need a Sky Box (Sky +) it's called, which I think is the equivalent of TiVO.
As we only have standard telly, no need for any fancy gadgets. I am toying with getting satellite, only because cricket isn't shown on free to air anymore.
