Caviar, smoked salmon & sour cream over potato pancakes. Duck wrapped in a crepe, would be my second choice - but, not actually a pancake. I'll leave the "fruity" stuff to IHOP.

If you want to try something a little different, try making eggnog, chocolate pancakes, a Dutch Baby or PC with Grand Marnier sauce & a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Hey Amy, I just found Mr. Breakfast yesterday while looking for whole wheat pancake recipe! Fun site!

rk, here is my TNT ww pancake recipe
Whole Wheat Buttermilk Pancakes 9-12 pancakes

2 eggs
2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
1 ¾ cups buttermilk or yogurt
1 t. baking soda
1 t. baking powder
½ t. salt
2 T. oil

Beat the eggs well.
Add other ingredients except oil and mix. ADD OIL AND MIX AGAIN.
Fry on hot griddle
Variation, add ½ cup diced apples, ¼ cup chopped walnuts and ¼ t. cinnamon.

But I won't be making these on Tuesday, cause I make them every weekend. Must do something different for Tues.....hmmmmm....

Your ideas of pancakes are great, the caviar and sour cream combination is excellent. I remember seeing similar recipe/s on the boxes of pancake mix from IKEA.

just a mixing tip..if you use store bought yogurt, 1 3/4 cup of it will make the batter too stiff. Thin it with 1/2 buttermilk and 1/2 yogurt. Or use sweet milk and vinegar in place of the buttermilk. You get a chance to whisk this liquid together after you whisk the eggs.
