I wonder if the average meal was the same food in all markets - or just an average meal of any kind.

If you look at the London prices - you'll see that American diners are getting a bargain!

We went out to dinner last night - and the bill was 196 POUNDS - with an aperitif, one bottle of wine and two armagnac with the coffee. And that was Scottish prices!
