Went back to Charlie's post, saying "what the ....? Why is he talking about training a bird?"

With my incredible powers of deduction, I'm guessing now that Charlie meant "trimmed my beard".

I gotta get better at reading Charlie-ese.

P.S. BT, when I was in junior high, I read a short story by Ray Bradbury called "The Small Assassin". This clip reminded me of that chilling story, which got me hooked on Bradbury for the rest of my life.
