Food advertising used to be ART.. 1919

A few samples of Food advertising from a 1919 Ladies Home Journal magazine.
It wasn't uncommon for now-famous artists to do the artwork.
Jello, for example, used Maxwell Parrish in some of their recipe booklets.
This issue had a few more, but I didn't picture them.

Love this stuff!
