Cyber support coming your way .. if I can recommend a couple of books, you might consider "The Breast Book" and the newer one Deanna Favre wrote about her cancer journey. Lost my MIL right after we got married to breast cancer, and have seen several work through it. Thankfully, things have come a long, long way. I won't lie, the treatment is brutal, but your mom has great odds with today's advancements. And she has YOU watching out for her, which is wonderful. Godspeed!

I am a breast cancer survivor, too. I am sending all good thoughts your way and pray that your mom's early diagnosis will result in the very good luck I had. It's been 12 years since my surgery and I did not have to have chemo. I did have radiation but it was no big deal and I feel great.

Best to you and your family.
