If you have kids in school or even if you need a line map (as I just did), here is a great site for line maps: Outline Maps.

Many of them, such as the Lewis and Clark Trail map, have one with labels and one without, so your kids can test themselves on the information, which could help out in their studies.

Another good place to look (especially if your kids are doing a state report) is www.50states.com. There are maps of individual states, along with information, such as state bird, state tree, etc.

I guess I should confess that I am a total map freak! One of the reasons I subscribed to National Geographic for a few years was that they sent a few really interesting maps (even one of the ocean floor) every year!
