Way back yonder, when I was a young'un, I detested rutabagas, turnips, liver, watermelon and likely, a host of other things that my poor ol' brain can't recall.
Luckily, I grew out of it....I still ain't a big fan of watermelon, but I reckon that is what happens when you pick them things for the truck farmer down the road for 7 summers.

Tomatoes have replaced ketchup...I don't eat much in the way of sweets and ketchups have gotten very sweet.

Could not stand rice as a kid. Guess it was not cooked right. Like it quite a bit now. Same thing with pot roast.
