I got this in an email and I thought I would share it here since we are all parents, grandparents or friends with someone that is a parent. I went straight to snopes and here it is.

indeed, sad but True!

although most now are denatured in a way as to make it Very unpalletable, Bitrex (denatonium Benzoate) is added to some, the same stuff that`s used to stop people biting finger nails.

something also worth a mention is it`s Flamability too!
this stuff should be in the medicine cabinet only.

Thank you for your post. It is good to know that while I was standing there pushing the button on the water fountain while 20 children lined up to wash their hands that it was acutally a good thing.
