Really didn't think this tree was going to make it ...

Happy Spring my foot. This was last week (22") and we're due for more tomorrow.

Same here. Another 8" or more of snow tonight through Thursday morning. On top of the 2 feet of the compacted, frozen solid snow leftover from the last 3 storms.

Just reading about all the snow some of you are getting, makes me cold. brrrr....

It's definitely spring here. The rosebushes have tons of those new little reddish leaves, and the trees are all budding out. I love spring. :)

HA!
I have no clue as to why this photo came out sideways
on DC.

Just to commiserate... here in Cowboyville at just about
mile high elevations ... we're expecting some snow as well,
nothing like you folks along the Eastern portion of the US,
but...
I spotted the first blossom on our Flowering Plum tree that
has been replaced TWICE now and I thought ...
Aaaahhhh, here we go. Thank you to the powers that
be for at least giving us a glimmer.
Of course, our overnight lows are still at freezing
and hard freeze, but, it's something anyways and I'll
take it.
I'm tired of the cold, windy, wet days .......

HAWAII HERE WE COME!!!

It is Spring here. Beautiful weather. I'm getting ready to plant my pepper garden.

Of course, Spring also means storms in these parts... the kind with big hail and tornadoes. I have no idea what kind of Spring storm season we will have this year. If we get hail again, I hope it finishes the job on my roof that it started last Spring. The damage last year wasn't quite enough for Allstate to buy me a new roof. Although actually, paying 1,200 to 1,500 bucks a year for homeowners insurance for 17 years, I'd basically be the one paying for my new roof on an installment plan.
