Heartburn remedies?

Thanks! Surprisingly, most of the time I'm being pretty patient. I was induced with the first and got stuck for hours at 2cm while stacking contractions. They'd turn the pitocin off, my contractions would become irregular. They'd turn it back on to the lowest level, and they'd come on full blast and peak 2 (once even 3) times before letting off. Even after my water broke, I just sat at 2 cm for hours. I'm at 3cm now without even being in labor. If my body just wants to keep on dilating another cm or 2 before I go into active labor, I'll gladly wait the extra few days.

Selkie is right - soda and glass of milk will help for a short time. Other than that you know what they say - baby will have a lots of hair. Good luck.
